MB-70 is a modern aluminium system which is used to make exterior architectural building elements which require thermal and acoustic insulation, eg., various types of windows, doors, vestibules , display windows or spatial structures.
The profiles have three-chamber design. The depth of the window sections is equal to 70mm (frame), 79mm (sash) and the doors accordingly 70mm and 70mm. Such depths of sash and frame sections give the effect of one surface from outside after closing - in the case of the window, and the facing effect to the surface of sash and frames - in the case of doors. The shape of the profile enables slender and durable door and window constructions. MB- 70 is characterised by relatively low heat -transfer coefficient thanks to the application of special thermal breaks and gaskets. This is highly significant in the times of increasing demands for the energy management and the environment protection. The value of heat transfer coefficient for constructions made in this system ranges between 1.5 and 2.39 W/m2K, depending on the applied profiles and accessories. ‘Omega’- shaped thermal breaks have been used in this system. Their width is equal to 34mm (windows) and 24mm (door), made from polyamide strengthen with fibreglass. he shape of the spacers increases the rigidity of the profiles in contrast to the flat spacers. Moreover, it facilitates the drainage of the sections at the same time making sure that appropriate thermal insulation is maintained in all atmospheric conditions. In addition to this, the thermal spacers used in our windows are equipped with special proofing at the point of contact of the section and the spacer. Moreover, we use tongues which separate the chamber between the internal and external aluminium sections into three parts. The tightness is assured by the application of special seals made of two –component EPDM synthetic rubber solid and cellular, which guarantees resistance to aging during the long- term exploitation as well as superb thermal insulation. MB- 70 is the first system in which for manufacturing of the central gasket this type of material was used. This system allows applying glazing packages at the thickness which ranges between 21 and 57mm in window sashes and 12 to 48 mm in fixed windows and door sashes. Such infill thickness range guarantees the possibility of using all types of window panes also the non-standard ones.
